FREELANCE QUANTITY SURVEYOR – GROUNDWORKS

My client is a £5million turnover civil engineering and groundwork’s contractor, privately owned. They are presently looking for an experienced Groundworks Quantity Surveyor or Project Quantity Surveyor with some experience on Groundworks packages to undertake a variety of commercially focussed duties on groundwork’s schemes valued anything from 50K- 4million. Due to an influx of work and lots of success my client needs to grow his team fast.

Types of Projects:
• Commercial and Industrial Groundworks projects.
• Foundations, Deep and Shallow Drainage, Retaining Walls, Piling, Hardstanding’s and External Works
• 5-6 projects running at any one time.

Locations of work:
• Northampton
• East Midlands

Contract:
• Part time

Daily Rate if Freelance:
• Daily rate of up to £400 per day LTD

You will be responsible for variations, take offs, procurement of subcontractors and dealing with the client daily. If you are already capable of managing your own schemes from start to finish, then you will be able to crack on and deliver the projects.
