Kenton Black Finance are delighted to be working with a highly reputable family run company who provide a vast range of equipment and supplies to businesses such as factories, public sites and airports to name a few. This client supply to customers across the UK and they are growing. My client is looking to recruit a highly competent Sales Ledger Clerk to cover maternity leave on 12 month fixed term basis
Your new role as a Sales Ledger Clerk:
As the Sales Ledger Clerk you will work with a very supportive and friendly finance team of seven. You will work closely with all colleague in order to maintain sales ledger accuracy but also offer any process improvement suggestions to assist in driving the business and processes forward. This will be a varied role and will be challenging and there my client is looking for a proactive candidate who is confident in in all areas of sale ledger processing.
Working Hours/ Days: 8am – 4.30pm Mon – Fri OR 8.30am – 5pm.

Day to day duties:
• Setting up customer accounts and maintaining accurate records
• Working with a high degree of accuracy
• Issuing statements, invoices and billing
• Responsible for sub contractor processing
• Working with a high volume of customer accounts
• Creating excellent working relationships
• Take full ownership for invoice related queries and ensure they are resolved in a timely manger
• Dealing with all sales ledger queries
• Completing statement reconciliations when received
• Assisting with month end reporting

General tasks
• Monitor and manage the finance team inbox on a daily basis
• Credit card reconciliation
• Bank reconciliation and investigations
• Take Credit card payments when required
• Assisting credit control

Experience & Qualifications Required to apply:

• 2 years’ experience in a Sales Ledger position
• Prefer SME Environment
• Computer literate, strong excel skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meeting every changing priorities
• Flexible approach
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• A positive and proactive nature with the ability to self-manage and organise your time and tasks
• Drive and proactivity
