Kenton Black Finance are delighted to be working with a Top 20 National Firm who are looking to expand their Accounts Team in Derby. They pride themselves of working with their clients to offer a personal service tailored to their individual needs becoming trusted partners to facilitate business growth.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
As a Senior Accountant you will hold your own portfolio of Owner Managed Businesses where you will be the main point of contact, providing practical advice to help them to maintain and develop their businesses. You will work closely with the Managers and Directors to provide both practical and advisory services.

SKILLS WE'D LIKE TO SEE
- Produce an accounts working file, and draft accounts.
- Clear arising queries with clients and produce a list of discussion points for the senior managers or partner.
- Work within a budget agreed at the planning stage.
- Produce draft tax computations and (for companies) a provision for inclusion in the accounts.
- Inclusion of statutory disclosures in line with the company checklist.
- Plan and control professional work for the firm's clients within the firm's standard procedures and identify basic planning opportunities.
- Knowledge of accounting systems such as Xero and Iris
- ACA or ACCA Qualified
