Job title: Senior Laboratory Analyst
Location: Derby
Salary: up to 30K
One of our key CDMO clients in the Derby area are looking to bring in some high-quality senior lab analysts to assist with the growing workload, as the site acquires more projects and looks to expand for the remainder of the year. You'll be at the forefront of maintaining high-quality standards by performing analytical testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct analytical testing according to the testing plan, promptly addressing any deviations.
• Collaborate on result trending, investigating Out of Specification and Out of Trend results and reporting them effectively.
• Ensure timely report generation, including stability reports.
• Support Out of Specification investigations.
• Assist in equipment calibration, validation, and monitoring.
• Play a role in developing and validating analytical methods.
• Help team members troubleshoot method and testing issues.
• Participate in test method transfers.
• Promote a culture of improvement by employing root cause analysis and risk management tools.
• Uphold Health and Safety and Good Manufacturing Practice standards.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a related scientific field (e.g., Chemistry, Biochemistry).
• Prior laboratory experience in analytical testing and quality control.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and standards.
• Strong teamwork and communication aptitude.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in root cause analysis and risk management.
• Timely management of workload to meet targets.
