Due to succession planning, a new position has been created within the finance function of a widely recognised, privately owned business in Blackpool.

This new Senior Management Accountant position offers genuine career advancement opportunities, and therefore is an ideal move for a CIMA/ACCA studier or qualified accountant looking for a defined path to become a Financial Controller.

Your New Role as Senior Management Accountant:

This new Senior Management Accountant post will report to an engaging Financial Controller. Responsibilities include:

• Supervising and mentoring the accounts team
• Preparation of the month end pack including P&L, balance sheet, commentary and analysis
• Budgeting and forecasting activities
• Supporting with year end/audit
• Key player in streamlining existing processes within finance
• Working cross-functionally, liaising with non-finance stakeholders to provide financial insight and advice

Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:

To be considered, you will be fully qualified in CIMA, ACCA or ACA or be actively studying and committed to completing studies (within the next 12 months ideally). Strong communication skills are required with the ability to challenge and influence where required. Additionally, good systems skills are required including Excel, handling large and complex data sets.
