Senior microbiology scientist

Kenton Black is a recruitment partner to a pharmaceutical testing laboratory based in Livingston.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for microbiological testing and validation of client material.
Responsible for technical review of documents
Provide updates to clients and keep in touch with external clients
Responsible for performing environmental monitoring, media preparation and culturing microorganisms
Perform microbiology testing such as TVC, Bioburden testing, sterility testing and bacterial endotoxin testing
Responsible for verification of laboratory data and review data
Working according to GMP/cGMP guidelines

Qualifications:

Degree in Microbiology or equivalent
Previous experience in working with pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical testing laboratory (Microbiology testing laboratory)
Experience working within a fast-paced, commercial analytical testing laboratory
Experience in microbial validation
Experience in working according to GMP guidelines
Excellent communication and written skills
