Kenton Black Finance are delighted to represent a medium size professional firm in the Stafford area who due to continued business success are seeking to appoint a Senior Payroll Executive to join their payroll team. This office based position requires previous experience within a similar end to end payroll processing role, undertaking payroll processing for multi payrolls across a varied portfolio of clients, therefore a accountancy bureau background would be advantageous - my client will also consider experience within other industries.

Your New Role As Senior Payroll Executive:

You will be working as part of small and friendly payroll team, providing full end to end payroll processing for weekly/monthly/fortnightly payrolls using Superpay payroll systems, being instrumental in the efficient running of the payroll function on behalf of your clients.

Day To Day Duties:

Full end to end payroll processing. Involved in processing and dealing with up to 600 employees over c 50+ clients for both weekly and monthly payrolls - ideally experience of Superpay payroll systems (training can be provided)
Dealing with BACS payments
Setting up of auto enrolment pension schemes, PAYE schemes
Working as part of a small team, dealing with RTI, HMRC queries on behalf of clients
Dealing with employee queries
Setting up of new payroll clients
Processing of P45/P46’s, P60’s and SSP/SMP, NIC

Experience & Qualifications Required To Apply:

The successful candidate should ideally possess payroll bureau experience in similar role capable of providing a high level of attention to detail. In addition, should be a team player and be able to work on their own initiative. You will be joining a busy and fast paced team and will need to possess strong time management and good organisational skills and be used to working to deadlines daily.
