Senior Project Controls Manager - Western Expat

KB International is excited to be assisting one of the pre-eminent PMC businesses in the global construction market as they look to appoint a Senior Project Controls Manager on one of their flagship schemes in Saudi Arabia.
Reporting to the Director of Project Management, the successful applicant will have a degree in Engineering or Construction Management and will possess at least 15 years' experience in a similar role, including a number of years spent on major projects in the Middle East region, managing large multi-national teams.

Responsibilities for this role will include -

• Providing guidance, direction, and specialized assistance for the resolution of difficult and complex project control problems.
• Interfacing with clients, attending regular meetings and providing statistical reports.
• Providing project and company management with the necessary tools for project cost control.
• May lead in the:
- Development of the work breakdown structure, interfacing with all affected departments.
- Analysis, evaluation, forecast, and reporting of schedule status against an established baseline.
- Analysis, evaluation, and forecast of project costs and performance.
• Coordinating staffing requirements, assigning and supervising project work activities, and training personnel.
• Completing performance reviews and providing personnel development for the assigned employees.
• Accumulating and assessing historical data, such as performance experience, for use in maintaining a realistic basis for future planning and forecasting.
• May lead staff qualified to assess the impact(s) of design/construction changes and schedule slippages.
• Developing or maintaining an established system to show the hierarchy of plans and schedules; keeps project and company management fully informed.
• Customizing project control systems to meet specific project requirements.
