Kenton Black Finance are proud to be working with a reputable accountancy and advisory firm in the North West seeking a Senior Tax Manager. Known for their excellent tax services to a wide variety of small, medium and larger businesses and private clients.

They are looking for a Senior Tax Manager to join their growing and dynamic team and to manage the tax affairs of their clients.

THE ROLE

As the Senior Tax Manager, you will be reporting directly to the Managing Partner. The role will be based in their South Manchester office.

You will oversee a wide variety of portfolios for personal and corporate tax clients, advising on personal and corporate tax liabilities and opportunities as well as undertaking advisory work including R&D claims, IHT and CGT planning, Groups, Incorporation and Exit Planning.

The role is varied and interesting and involves working with the Directors to provide high level technical advice, planning and advisory work.

WHAT ARE THEY LOOKING FOR

-You will be comfortable in your relationships with other members of staff, liaising with Accounts teams to ensure a high standard of client service.
-You should have at least 10 years’ prior experience of working in practice including managerial experience, a good academic background and a willingness to develop your abilities with a forward thinking business.

Due to the nature of the role, excellent team working skills are imperative together with strong communication skills.

You will be responsible for managing a team of five, ensuring team deadlines are met and reviewing work.
