Site Engineer - Experience in flood alleviation, flood defence, sheet piling, capping beams, embankment works, topographical surveys and general setting out including batter rails and profile boards.
This role is for two schemes on the asset recovery phase 2 programme of works, the first scheme is in Leominster, which is bank erosion, concrete works vegetated wall system, embankment replacement and as built surveys.
The second scheme is in Gloucester and comprises of a sheet piled flood defence, C/W capping beam, riverbank regrading and river bed enhancement.

Setting out using total stations, and to be able to undertake traditional setting out
Read and review construction drawings
Undertake basic take-offs
Raising technical queries with designers and other members of the client team
Have a good commercial understanding and know the difference between cost and value
Carry out relevant inspections and testing to ensure conformance of the works with the design and specification
Ensure all work complies with quality, safety and environmental policies and the requirements of the company procedures

What we are looking for:-

Relevant CSCS
Computer competence
Civil Engineering related qualification
Successful experience as a site engineer
