Due to their on-going growth, my client is seeking a Site Manager with experience of working in the construction industry. They’re an award winning Civil Engineering Contractor specialising in Water infrastructure and clean/dirty waters. Established for over 35 years, my client is now a principal contractor for Severn Trent Water, and this role is to enable further growth. They advocate working as part of a driven and motivated team. They have a real family feel culture, so someone who wants to be a part of that is essential.

The Role:
As a Site Manager, you would be responsible for the following:

• Ensuring that operations being carried out on the site are done so in safe manner
• Creating Risk assessment and Method statements for all operations
• Monitoring and maintaining adequate plant and labour resource on site whilst ensuring that the labour
• Carrying out toolbox talks and daily safety briefings with the work force to ensure that all persons on site are aware of the daily changes

The Candidate: The ideal person for this role will have the following:

• Experience working in the construction industry
• Experience of Water Infrastructure
• SSMTS
• SSSTS
• First Aid
