Site Manager
Salary: £55k - £60k + Car/Allowance + Benefits
Region: West Yorkshire

My Client are a national Tier 1 Main Contractor working across a varied range of high value projects from £20m - £200m in the build sector including; industrial, commercial, stadium, leisure etc.

Due to increased workload there is a need for an experienced Site Manager “boots on the ground” to join the Yorkshire team, specifically on one of their large industrial builds in West Yorkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a progressive and dynamic tier 1 main contractor.

The Role:

• Reporting to a Project Manager/Senior Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing day to day site activities
• Assist in programming and short term look-ahead
• Manage and liaise with subcontractors
• Read and implement drawings
• Ensure all works are being carried out in line with company and client procedure
• Prepare Health and Safety Documents
• Make sure Health and Safety procedures are being adhered to at all times
• Assist in staff development when required
• Attend site meetings with site staff, subbies, clients and third parties
• Involved with site inductions and toolbox talks
• Liaison with the commercial team
• Produce weekly site reports and completion of paperwork consistent with agreed systems and processes

The Candidate

• Ideally worked for a Main Contractor on projects valued £20m and above
• Track record of delivering industrial, distribution, warehouse projects to completion
• Confident in running large sections of work within a large major project
• A strong and confident leader with a team mentality
• Able to work across the Yorkshire region

Essential for the role:

• CSCS / SMSTS / First Aid
