Stability analyst
Stability analyst is needed in Hertfordshire. This Stability analyst will be joining an existing stability team for pharmaceuticals development in North Hertfordshire. This Stability analyst will be on a full-time fixed term contract for two years based at the Hertfordshire site near Luton.
The role will involve:
• Assisting with the provision of stability data for new product development
• Routine ongoing stability monitoring of commercial products in compliance with authorised test procedures
• Using HPLC (High-performance liquid chromatography), GC (Gas chromatography), TLC (Thin-layer chromatography) and Wet chemistry techniques.
• Supporting the QC Team
• Routine and non-routine testing activities of raw materials, bulk and finished product samples in compliance with authorised test procedures.
• Use of software such as a Chromatography Data System (Chromeleon), LIMS, Excel and Word for the collection, processing and reporting of data.
Working hours: This role consists of a 4-day working week.
• Monday to Thursday
• Tuesday to Friday.
To apply for this position, you will need to have:
• Minimum 1 year experience in an analytical testing role.
• A degree or equivalent in chemistry or similar.
• Some experience in the techniques of HPLC and GC analysis.
• Experience with Microsoft Office - particularly Word and Excel.
• Self-motivated and be a team player
• Good communications skills

Experience with chromatography data handling software and LIMS, and experience in an GMP environment would be beneficial, although training will be given.
