Location: Northampton

Undertake structural design on a wide variety of civil and structural engineering projects within the commercial, residential, industrial, healthcare and education sectors on projects up to £30 million in value

Attributes and Key Skills

Hold a B.Eng/M.Eng in Civil or Structural Engineering with a minimum of 2 – 3 years of post-graduate experience
Be working towards chartership status through IStructE or ICE
Have good design experience and structural analysis skills in most common structural materials including steel, concrete, timber, and masonry
Preferably have an understanding of drainage and wider civil engineering design
Have a good knowledge of AutoCAD and engineering software
Have excellent communication skills
Have experience in managing your own workload
Represent the company at meetings and liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors
Be responsible for accurate structural design calculations and drawings
Be a positive team member
