Responsibilities:
• Managing a portfolio of clients and being the main point of contact for tax-related matters.
• Preparing and reviewing complex tax computations and returns for individuals, partnerships, and limited companies.
• Identifying tax planning opportunities to optimise clients' tax positions.
• Providing expert advice on various tax matters, including VAT, capital gains tax, and inheritance tax.
• Keeping up to date with changes in tax legislation and ensuring compliance for clients.
• Liaising with HMRC and other authorities on behalf of clients and resolving any tax queries or issues.
• Mentoring and guiding junior members of the tax team.
• Assisting with tax-related projects and contributing to the continuous improvement of tax processes.

Requirements:
• Minimum of 4 experience in a tax-focused role within an accountancy practice.
• Excellent knowledge of UK tax regulations and legislation.
• Qualified ACCA/ACA or CTA with a strong academic background.
• Experience in managing a diverse portfolio of clients and delivering high-quality tax services.
• Proficiency in tax software and accounting software (e.g. CCH, Xero, QuickBooks).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
