Job Title: Microbiology Team Leader - Water Testing
Location: Manchester

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of microbiologists, providing guidance, support, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Oversee the daily operations of the microbiology department, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct and supervise microbiological testing of water samples, including microbial enumeration, identification, and analysis.
• Develop and validate new testing methodologies, protocols, and procedures to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of microbiological testing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Microbiology or a related field.
• Extensive experience in microbiological testing, particularly in water analysis.
• Proven leadership skills with previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of water testing methodologies, regulatory requirements, and quality control processes.
• Familiarity with relevant laboratory instrumentation,
