Technical reporting officer

This is a permanent position. Fully home based

Kenton Black Scientific is a recruitment partner to a oil testing laboratory based in Burton- Upon- Trent.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for reporting oil results to external clients accurately
Provide technical support and technical consultation to external client
Provide technical support to laboratory R&D team. The team is responsible for analyzing oil and & gas samples using techniques such as Karl Fisher, Viscosity testing, titration, water content analysis and GC-MS
Responsible for resolving any technical queries clients have regarding oil testing results

Requirements:

Degree in Science or equivalent ( or relevant industrial experience)
Excellent knowledge using techniques such as Karl Fisher, Viscosity testing, titration, water content analysis and GC-MS etc
Excellent understanding of reading oil testing results and be able to accurately report them to external clients
Experience in working within a oil and gas analysis laboratory would be beneficial
Experience in working according to ISO17025 guidelines would be beneficial
Excellent communication and written skills
