Company Details and Job Overview:

Kenton Black Finance have partnered with a large public sector organisation who require a Temporary Assistant Accountant for an initial period of 3 months. Potential of a longer-term opportunity or permanent role may become available after this time.

The organisation offers flexi-time and hybrid working arrangements, and a competitive rate of pay will be offered to the successful candidate. An immediate start is available.

Your New Role as Temporary Assistant Accountant:

Receiving support from the finance lead, specific responsibilities will include:

• Review of daily cash flow
• Monitoring expenditure and income
• High volume reconciliations
• Contribute to the year end accounting process, liaising with auditors as required
• Provision of ad hoc reports as required

Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:

The successful candidate will be proven in a similar level finance role although training will be provided as required. Ideally you will be available to begin working at fairly short notice and interview slots are available imminently.
