Based on the outskirts of St. Helens, within easy commute from the M6, my client is a rapidly growing market leader and are seeking to recruit an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk (Temporary) to join their existing team. Due to acquisitions and continued expansion, this role is available for an immediate start for the right candidate. This is a really exciting time to join the business.
Your New Role as the Purchase Ledger Clerk:
As Purchase Ledger Clerk you will report into the Purchase Ledger Manager and join a small but growing team. You will be responsible for ensuring the timely processing of purchase invoices following company policy and procedures.
Day to day duties:
• Inputting high volumes of invoices
• Matching, batching and coding
• Dealing with supplier queries in a professional manner
• Preparing for payment runs
• Supplier statement reconciliation
• Processing expense claims
• Ad hoc accounts administration duties
Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:
• Previous experience of high-volume invoice processing
• Good attention to detail
• Strong IT skills including Excel
