I am working exclusively with a top 10 civil engineering main contractor to appoint a Temporary Works Coordinator. The role will involve overseeing all of the temporary works on the site. This business is a major player worldwide and is an incredible opportunity for the right person. Day to day, you'll be helping to drive the highest standards. You'll work closely with the client, as well as the construction team. The work includes non-live rail infrastructure & associated civils.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• being the first point of contact between the designers of Temporary Works and the site team
• coordination of all Temporary Works activities
• developing the procedures for the control of Temporary Works and ensuring they are implemented on site
• ensuring that the various responsibilities have been allocated and accepted by the relevant parties
• ensuring that a satisfactory Temporary Works design is carried out, that appropriate design checks are completed, and that the design has been approved
• ensuring the independence of checks by delegating the checking to another individual when required
• maintaining all records relating to the final design of the Temporary Works including drawings, calculations, and other relevant documents
• ensuring the Temporary Works design is implemented in accordance with the drawings and specification
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS & TRAINING
• Demonstrating at least 5 years' experience in projects encompassing similar temporary works schemes
• Have successfully completed a recognised TWC training course within the last 5 years
• Strong communication skills in English

• A salary between £40,000 - £50,000
