Kenton Black Finance are recruiting on behalf of an established and growing business in the East Lancs area, who pride themselves on the positive impact they make to thousands of lives every day. They now seek to appoint a Transactions Officer (Finance) who they can offer extensive training and the opportunity to progress further within the business.

Your New Role as the Transactions Officer (Finance):

As the Transactions Officer (Finance) you will carry out the following duties:-

- Daily processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices for the Group
- Daily direct debit payments will be downloaded from a payment system and posted onto the system against customers accounts
- You will be liaising with internal and external customers on a daily basis via telephone, email and face to face, to provide assistance, respond and manage their queries
- Payments will be posted onto the system from several different businesses throughout the week.

Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:

To be considered for this position, you will have a minimum of 2 years recent experience in a similar role. You will have a thorough understanding of both the purchase and sales ledger processes, whilst having the ability to organise and prioritise work to meet deadlines. In addition, you will be able to use IT in a financial environment, in particular, Word, PowerPoint and the ability to use and develop Excel spreadsheets. You will also have good communication and team working skills and possess good attention to detail.

This role offers a competitive salary and opportunities to progress within the company. You will be offered the option of hybrid and flexible working. Whether you wanted to start at 7am or 9.30am, as long as your contracted hours of 36.25 per week are worked, then the option is yours. Hybrid working will allow you to work from home 2 days a week.
